Trichoderma harzianum is the first beneficial microorganism to become the standard in commercial greenhouse cultivation.
The microorganisms living in soil, coconut fiber or similar substrates break down organic matter and release minerals in the process. This process is crucial in organic farming, bio-hydroponics, bioponics and aquaponics. Recent research has shown that as Trichoderma develops and spreads, it releases a number of compounds that promote plant growth and substances that neutralize or kill soil-dwelling pathogens that are dangerous to plants.
Due to these advantages, which benefit young plants in particular, Trichoderma has established itself in the industry. Like all Terra Aquatica products, the Trichoderma are of first-class quality because the cultures are grown from particularly viable strains.
Trikologic meets the requirements of the European Directive 2008/113/EG on microorganisms as active ingredients and is registered under the following number: BBA No. LS 004987-65-00.
Like all aerobes, the microorganisms contained in Trikologic are healthier and more efficient the more oxygen they get and the less the pH, temperature and humidity fluctuate.
As an addition when sowing and as an additive to the water/fertilizer for seedlings, young and mature plants: add 1 g to 15 to 20 liters of water or nutrient solution every 6 to 8 weeks.
Adult plants in soil or coconut fibre: add 10 g to 150 to 200 liters of water or nutrient solution every 6 to 8 weeks; simply add it to the irrigation and fertilization system or water the substrate directly with it.In hydroponics with free-floating roots or bioponics: for young plants with small root masses, Trikologic needs a base for microorganisms to settle and multiply. Use a commercially available biofilter for this or hang a 3 to 5 liter plastic grid pot filled with 80% expanded clay and 20% coconut fiber in the water running into the tank or under the return line.
