Our growSYSTEM aeroponic is a closed, aeroponic system for growing plants. Aeropony is the logical progression of hydropony. There is no substrate at all in the aeroponia. The freely hanging roots are constantly sprayed with a nutrient solution. This ensures a maximum supply of oxygen to the roots, which has a very positive effect on the growth of the plants.

The omission of a substrate offers further advantages:

Costs for substrate replacement and disposal are saved
Aeroponia can be used anywhere (NASA laid a decisive foundation for the development of aeroponia with its experiments on plant cultivation in the space capsules)
the substrate as a possible source of pathogens is eliminated
The nutrient solution constantly circulates between the tank and the root area. If required, a cooling unit can be integrated into the water circuit to keep the nutrient solution at the perfect temperature at all times. Tank, pump and the optional water cooling can all be found directly under the growRACK and are always quickly and easily accessible. This also makes regular replacement of the nutrient solution child's play.
All components contained in the growSYSTEM aeroponic are perfectly matched to each other and together result in an absolutely harmonious overall work. True music for the discerning gardener.

How high do I set the EC value?

When you put the cuttings in the grow system for the first time, simply reduce the EC values specified by the manufacturer by 50% and place them in the nutrient solution. Check the EC value every few days ( check more often in the beginning ). If the EC drops, the plants will take up nutrients at a faster rate than water and this means you can refill the nutrient tank with an increased concentration of nutrients. As EC increases, plants take up water faster and nutrients need to be lowered. If the EC value remains stable, you have hit the optimal point at which the plants take up nutrients and water in equal measure.
