Rhino Pro activated carbon filters are filled exclusively with high-quality Australian activated carbon. The charcoal is left in its natural form and not pressed. It is ideally suited for absorbing odor molecules. Rhino Pro filters are available in sizes from 255m³/h air flow to 4300m³/h air flow. The flange sizes are between 100mm and 350mm. When filling with activated carbon, the Rhino Pro filters are subjected to a special shaking process. This avoids air pockets that the air to be filtered could flow past unfiltered.

The conical inner foot is a Rhino Pro Filter innovation! It ensures balanced pressure conditions in the filter and ensures that the air flow is evenly distributed throughout the carbon bed of the filter. If you extract the air from the inside to the outside, as is usual in modern greenhouses or indoor gardens, this is exactly what is crucial.

Rhino Pro filters have an optimal ratio of the different pore sizes. This prevents the filter from clogging you quickly. But nothing really gets out that doesn't belong outside.

All Rhino Pro activated carbon filters have a 5cm thick activated carbon bed. This is the optimal strength. Because ventilation systems should not be overloaded by unnecessarily thick coal beds. On the other hand, it is crucial that all odor molecules are reliably filtered out on the way out and that nothing can slip through. The 5cm of activated carbon are like a maze with no exit for odor molecules.

Rhino Pro filters have an extremely low ash content. They filter dust-free and do not clog themselves.

*The iodine number defines the mass of iodine in milligrams that is adsorbed by 1 g of activated carbon in an aqueous solution. The iodine number is therefore a measure of the activity of an activated carbon. This means that an activated carbon with a high iodine number can absorb more odor molecules from the air than one with a lower iodine number. Rhino Pro activated carbon filters guarantee the best possible odor neutralization with an iodine number of 1050g/m².
