Disinfectant concentrate

Purolyt disinfectant concentrate was specially developed for gardeners to keep greenhouses, garden tools, propagators, inert substrates, as well as hydroponic systems and nutrient solutions free from undesirable microorganisms and biofilms.

How to use

The GAMECHANGER Purolyt opens up new possibilities when growing plants according to VPD Tables because it can be grown in a clean environment even at high temperature and humidity. Finally, the full potential of plant genetics can be fully exploited.

Purolyt can be used to disinfect surfaces in greenhouses and in agriculture using the following methods:

Spray
Cold fogging
Wipe disinfection

Purolyt can be added directly to disinfect water and nutrient solutions. Since plant pathogens such as bacteria, fungi and viruses are spread via the irrigation water, clean and germ-free water is paramount in hydroponic systems.

Important notes on use:

Use the prepared dilution as soon as possible, but at the latest within 48 hours. Store in a tightly sealable container and protect from UV light.
Cleaned water should always be used for spraying/nebulizing (e.g. distilled water, deionized water or osmosis water). We recommend commercially available pressure sprayers from at least 3 bar. If the plants are grown under artificial light, the spraying/fogging should be carried out shortly before or during the photoperiod, but always with the production lights switched off.
Production lights must remain off for 20-30 minutes after spraying. A 4 watt LED per 3 m2 is enough to keep the plants in the photoperiod.

Areas of application

Preventively implemented hygiene measures in plant breeding reduce the risk of infection, which means that pesticides have to be used less frequently and the chances of success of biological pest control are increased.

Effect

Purolyt destroys harmful bacteria, fungi and algae quickly and reliably. Appropriate application ensures a safe environment when growing plants.

Biofilms in water-bearing systems are also effectively removed and their formation prevented.

Principle of action

Purolyt uses an active principle similar to that of the human body to fight bacteria and viruses:

When the immune system detects a virus, white blood cells are activated. These produce hypochlorous acid (HOCL), which is also the active ingredient in Purolyt. It has been scientifically proven that HOCL has extremely effective disinfecting properties.
