Phonic Trap is a flexible, sound-insulated air hose made of plastic for supply and exhaust air. The advantages are obvious here: disposal, transport weight and production. Rock or glass wool requires enormous amounts of energy to produce. Rock or glass wool is hazardous waste and again costs money when it comes to disposal. In addition, particles from the supply and exhaust air itch during processing.
Never NEVER install this hose between the fan and the AKF (activated carbon filter). This air hose is not "100% airtight", it is for sound isolation only. So only install BEHIND the fan. The negative pressure generated by the exhaust air fan would suck unfiltered secondary air through the air hose. The best connection between ACF and fan is the rubber sleeve!
