Hygro-Pack 62% - Precise humidity for your herbal medicine

If you are looking for a reliable and easy way to maintain the humidity in your herb container, then the Boveda Hygro-Pack 62% is the perfect solution for you. This product has been scientifically designed to provide an accurate relative humidity (RH) in an enclosed space. Available in multiple RH levels, the Hygro-Pack will never humidify beyond the printed RH, so you never have to worry about your herbs getting "too humid".

Each Hygro-Pack consists of a specially prepared saturated solution of pure water and natural salt contained in a water vapor permeable "reverse osmosis" membrane. When you place the Hygro-Pack in your herbal container, it will maintain the predetermined RH level by releasing or absorbing purified water vapor through the membrane as needed. This way you can be sure that your herbs always have the right humidity to preserve their quality and potency.

Another advantage of the Hygro-Pack is that it offers the cleanest and purest moisture. Unlike other humidification products, the Hygro-Pack does not contain any additives or chemicals that could affect your herbs. Instead, you get precise moisture control that keeps your herbs fresh and flavorful.

Please note that you should not mix the hygro packs with other humidification products as they may fight each other and reduce the efficiency of the hygro packs. Therefore, always use the Hygro-Pack alone in your herb container for best results.

58% or 62% - Which Boveda RH should I choose?

It is an individual preference whether to choose 58% or 62% relative humidity - depending on what experience you prefer or how humid the location is. For personal use, some prefer 58% relative humidity, while for storing larger quantities of herbs, 62% is preferred.

Application of Boveda Packs

By using Boveda Packs to store your herbs, you not only achieve a longer shelf life, but also an improved taste quality. Under suitable storage conditions, herbs can mature (fermentation) and thus gain both taste and effect.

Another advantage of the Boveda technology is that the packs increase the humidity to the exact value of 62% to prevent the formation of mold. Before storing your herbs with Boveda Packs, the manufacturer recommends drying them slightly. It is important to keep the paper packaging of the Boveda Packs closed. When a Boveda Pack is no longer soft and feels firm, it is no longer functional and should be replaced.
