BioTabs PK Booster Compost Tea

A rich soil life is of utmost importance for the organic cultivation of plants. Bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms break down organic matter and convert it into nutrients for plants. The larger and more diverse the spectrum of bacteria and fungi in the soil or potting soil, the better the plants grow. This has a direct impact on the health of the plants and their yield. A rich soil life also offers more than just food for the plants. Rich soil life also produces antibiotics and vitamins. Compost tea is a mixture of room temperature, chlorine-free water, compost and various other ingredients that are rich in microorganisms also found in the soil. Compost tea significantly enriches soil life and is therefore an important tool for organic growers. Compost tea is best aerated for 24 to 36 hours. You can add additional ingredients to the tea during the aeration phase, for example BioTabs PK Booster. Aeration increases the number of microorganisms in the liquid. BioTabs PK Booster and BioTabs Compost Tea make it easy for growers to create their own compost tea, especially for annuals. The pack contains rich and powerful compost with a healthy blend of active, bacteria-dominant microorganisms, bat guano, seaweed and a few other selected ingredients. In addition, a unique blend of bacteria that produce phosphorus (P) and mobilize potassium (K) in the soil is included, giving your plants a large dose of phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) - a real PK booster!

This effect can be maximized with ORGATREX, a mixture of various bacterial nutrients, since the addition during the aeration phase leads to an explosive multiplication of the microorganisms in the compost tea. BioTabs PK Booster Compost Tea is the recipe for a perfect compost tea for fast-growing annual plants - the optimal composition has been determined through test series over many years. BioTabs Compost Tea is useful for all sorts of growers purposes with possible volumes from 1 liter up to 100 liters.

The compost tea brewing system

Compost tea preparation systems are sold in specialist shops. But with a bucket, a hose with an aeration stone and an aquarium pump, you can easily create such a brewing system yourself. For larger quantities use a barrel, a (garden) hose with holes and a powerful pump. The purpose of such a system is to pump air into the mixture. Make sure the pump you are using is powerful enough to really get the tea fizzing. You can check for yourself whether your pump is powerful enough. If the tea starts to stink, the pump isn't strong enough.

Well-aerated compost tea smells fresh and pleasant.

Clean the brewing system thoroughly after use. Do not use chlorine for this, but a solution with 3% hydrogen peroxide or another cleaning agent, such as >Purolyte.

Preparing the tea

According to the instructions, prepare the compost tea a little earlier than needed. The mixture is then aerated for 24 to 36 hours. The tea can only be kept for a few hours (up to four hours). Therefore, use the tea within four hours after the end of the aeration phase. Use only good quality, natural and chlorine-free water. Chlorine kills microorganisms. If you only have water with chlorine available, you must pre-aerate the water for several hours. The active aeration of the water causes the chlorine to evaporate. Do not add the ingredients for the compost tea until about two hours after pre-aeration. Your tea will be much more effective if you add one teaspoon of MYCOTREX (mycorrhizal fungi) for every five liters of tea half an hour before the end of the brewing process. MYCOTREX is sold separately.

Application Compost Tea

Compost tea can be used for both indoor and outdoor grows. The mixture is used by pouring it on the ground. While watering, try to keep the compost tea moving, including any solid parts. You can't overdose on compost tea. The more you use it, the better the results. We recommend using our PK Booster Compost Tea at least three times during a cycle. Be sure to do this during weeks 3, 4, and 5 of the flowering period. You can also spray the compost tea on the leaves. The compost tea then forms a protective layer on the leaves. Enemy mushrooms then have no chance to cause damage. When spraying the tea on the leaves, please note the following: You should filter the compost tea first before putting it in a plant sprayer, otherwise it will become clogged. The tea contains many living microorganisms. These cannot survive when sprayed onto a plant under high pressure. Therefore, only use a hand-operated syringe. Spray the leaves from above and below - preferably just before the lights go out or the sun goes down. Stir in room-temperature, chlorine-free water per liter:

1 tablespoon (15 grams) of PK BOOSTER COMPOST TEA
5 milliliters of ORGATREX
Let bubble for 24 to 36 hours.

Pour the compost tea on the ground within four hours of the tea being finished. Use half a liter of tea per plant.

Keep in a cool and dry place.
Keep out of the reach of children.
